DR BRIAN HINTON
Dr Brian Hinton read English at Oxford, and has gone on to write many books on popular music, poetry and the Freshwater Circle of the late 19th century. He helped save Dimbola Lodge - former home of Julia Margaret Cameron. He has overseen its transformation into a museum, contemporary gallery and concert venue. Seamus Heaney described Brian as "keeper of the poets' places"
