LISSA EVANS
Lissa Evans has produced and/or directed many UK comedy shows, including Room 101 and Have I Got News for You, but for the last 25 years she has worked as a writer. She lives in London with her (Irish) husband.
Lissa, as the produce of the second and third series of Father Ted, spent three years hovering anxiously over every moment, from the first glimpse of the script to the last revolution of a runaway milk-float round a specially-built plywood roundabout.
Lissa has written book for both adults and children, including the bestselling Old Baggage, Their Finest Hour and a Half, longlisted for the Orange Prize and made into a successful film starring Gemma Arterton and Bill Nighy, Small Change for Stuart, shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal and the Costa Book Awards amongst other, and Crooked Heart, longlisted for the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction.
