ALEX GRANT
Alex Grant is a writer, researcher and lecturer with extensive experience of politics, biography and modern history. After reading English at Oxford, he worked as a journalist in the US and the UK.
He was a Labour councillor in the London borough of Greenwich for sixteen years and previously worked in Parliament. He has lectured at City Lit, UCL, and the University of Sheffield and has written for The Times and The Guardian.
Alex was the principal researcher on Court Number One: The Old Bailey, written by his brother, the barrister Thomas Grant, and published by John Murray in 2019.
