Katie Daysh is a historical fiction author from the Isle of Wight. Her books are often set on the sea and centralise unheard voices of the past, with a particular focus on queer representation. Her debut novel, the Age of Sail adventure, Leeward, was published in 2023, the first in a trilogy following two Georgian Royal Navy officers, Hiram Nightingale and Arthur Courtney. The Devil to Pay, the second book in the series, was published in 2024.
