Dr Suzanne O’Sullivan has been a doctor for over 35 years. She works fulltime as neurologist in a clinical practice. Suzanne’s award winning non-fiction books include It’s All in Your Head: True Stories of Imaginary Illnesses, which was shortlisted for Books Are My Bag, a bookshop curated, reader selected award, the Wellcome Book Prize and the Royal Society of Biology General Book Prize and The Sleeping Beauties: And Other Stories of Mystery Illness, which was shortlisted for the 2021 Royal Society of Science Book Prize.

Her latest book, The Age of Diagnosis, is a revelatory journey of modern illness that overturns long held assumptions about medical progress.
