ALLISON PEARSON

Allison Pearson is an award-winning journalist and bestselling author.

 

Allison is a columnist on the Daily Telegraph and broadcasts regularly on TV and radio. Allison’s first novel, I Don’t Know How She Does It, the story of a working mother, became an international hit which was translated into 32 languages. It was made into a film starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Pierce Brosnan.

 Allison’s second novel, I Think I Love You, which tells the story of 1970s teenage girls obsessed with David Cassidy, is being made into a musical. Allison is working on a fourth novel based on Jane Eyre. She lives in Saffron Walden with her family and a Turkish rescue cat.

Allison will be speaking as part of a panel on Jane Austen alongside Amanda Craig and Ysenda Maxtone Graham
